WARNING - All firearms are potentially dangerous and should be
handled with extreme caution. The firearm manufacturer’s instructions
and recommendations should be read and followed prior to the handling of
your firearm. Training in an accredited firearms safety course is
essential for proper handling of all firearms. If you are not familiar
with the safe use of firearms or have not been instructed in the safe
use of firearms, serious injury or death may result. Read and understand
all owner’s manuals and instructions prepared by the firearm’s
manufacturer for your handgun. Practice and training are mandatory prior
to using the holster. Do not use a loaded firearm during practice and
training. Practice using the holster with an unloaded firearm until you
are thoroughly competent and proficient in its safe use. Any and all fit
and retention adjustments should be done with an unloaded firearm.

may result in serious injury or death. Do not use this holster to carry
any firearm that has been modified or that is malfunctioning in any way
as serious injury or death may result. Do not modify this holster in any
way. Always check the holster for any wear or damage prior to each use
and DO NOT use the holster if any wear or damage interferes with the
safety and/or function of the holster or the firearm. Do not carry a
firearm equipped with a hammer extension or trigger shoe in this

THIS IS A RETENTION HOLSTER, NOT A STORAGE DEVICE. IT IS NOT TO
BE USED AS A LOCKING DEVICE OR AS A DEVICE DESIGNED TO KEEP YOUR FIREARM
AWAY FROM CHILDREN OR OTHER UNAUTHORIZED USERS DURING STORAGE. WHEN NOT
IN USE, ALWAYS KEEP YOUR FIREARM SAFELY SECURED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
APPLICABLE LAW.
It is the user’s responsibility to make sure that the firearm
properly fits the holster at all times. In the event that the holster no
longer properly fits the firearm, does not provide the required
retention or is defective in any manner, immediately discontinue using
the holster. Do not carry a firearm in the holster with the hammer
cocked. Always engage the safety. Do not holster or remove your firearm
from the holster with your finger on the firearm trigger or hammer. Be
very careful and use caution when holstering any firearm with an
external hammer to avoid unintentional cocking of the hammer.
Immediately after holstering, always check to make sure that the hammer
is not in a cocked position. Do not holster or draw the firearm with
your finger on the trigger or in the trigger guard. Firearms should be
carried with hammer or firing pin on an empty chamber. Always place hand
on the handgun and holster when running or performing other vigorous
activity. Do not expose holster to extreme heat conditions. Always
protect exposed magazine release buttons from accidental depression. All
holsters can cause wear to the finish of a firearm, therefore, we
cannot be responsible for damage to the firearm finish. Refer to this
Safety Warning and Instructions regularly or as needed to ensure proper
use of your Fobus holster.
